This has been around for a while, but it’s new to me: Delphi expert and open source contributor Primoz Gabrijelcic has a blog called The Delphi Geek.

Joe Duffy has a PowerPoint presentation on PLINQ, Microsoft’s experimental parallelized version of LINQ. Close readers will note some Haskell-isms there, like ZipWith. Worth your time if you like to think about concurrent programming.

Free InterBase Developers Edition

The Developers Edition of InterBase has always been included with Borland IDE products, but hasn’t been available to users of other IDEs. CodeGear just changed that. So if you’re using Eclipse or Visual Studio and would like to support InterBase in your applications, you can now get a free version which never expires.
