My daughter has always really enjoyed Melissa & Doug toys, and it seems the company is looking for a Delphi developer. From the borland.public.delphi.jobs newsgroup:
"Melissa & Doug" is an award winning company located in Norwalk, Connecticut, that has experienced profitable growth for the past 17 years. We design, manufacture, and sell children’s toys. Our mission is to provide educational, heirloom-quality products to children.
We are looking for a Delphi Programmer who offers expert-level experience in Delphi 7 and SQL Server, developing and enhancing software that runs mission-critical business systems in a sales and manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience using Crystal Report Writer is a plus.
The requirements for the position are simple: You must be comfortable in a dynamic development environment, hard working, a great communicator, possess unparalleled software development skills, and possess an internal engine that is geared to succeed.
This is an in-office, full time position. Our office environment is very casual and friendly.
Please email resume and salary history to delphisearch@MelissaandDoug.com.
I don’t live in Connecticut, so I won’t be applying, but if you know someone in the area you might pass it along.

I just met a guy from the company at the DevCon lunch. Seems he was cruising the tables. Very nice guy. Sounds like it would be a great opportunity. Can I telecommute?
Thanks for posting this information. I’m in Connecticut and close to Norwalk myself and just found this blog today.
