There is a Borland approved InterBase roadmap with plans for multiple IB releases in the coming two years. Obviously no company can commit to any product "forever" but John Kaster called recent claims that the "Deploy" products are "legacy" FUD.

Daniel Magin is discussing his InterBase Sourcecode Producer, which does object-relational code generation for InterBase databases. It’s an ASP.NET app written in Delphi for .NET.
Tom Wilk’s comments were great. If you want to hear interesting feedback about using IB in the real world, make sure and listen to Tom when the recordings are posted. Why choose InterBase? Why not MS-SQL or a free DB Server? Tom’s answers are interesting.
