Last year I was unable to find decent coffee within walking distance of the San Jose Convention Center. Since BorCon is there again this year, I thought I’d do some advance research into the matter.
This place looks decent, but at just under three miles from the convention center, it’s a bit of a hike.
Other than that, I’ve mostly found hotels and other places which don’t specialize in coffee. My personal bias, as an admitted coffee snob, is to include Charbucks in the latter category. If I wanted to drink Match Light™ I’d buy it from a hardware store, as it’s cheaper when you buy the briquets in 15 pound bags.
So, any San Jose natives aware of other choices? Please leave feedback if so.
